Arrested Development to return in the spring

By Kevin Bartelt

One of the funniest shows of all time is finally making a comeback. Arrested Development has been off the air since 2006, but according to huffingtonpost.com, a new season will premiere this spring on Netflix.

The writers plan to write at least 10 episodes for season four, according to the article. I’m really excited because this shows is hilarious. It’s always interesting to watch Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and even Will Arnett before their prime. I’d highly recommend re-watching the previous seasons before spring. Although those who have not seen the show would probably enjoy the latest season, watching the previous episodes would be very beneficial.

If you are looking for a show to check out on Netflix, try Arrested Development. It redefined comedy for me. It’s not a cheap, dumb comedy. Unlike shows with science students sitting on a couch saying really big words, Arrested Development has purpose to its humor.

How do you continue a show after seven years? Can the actors, directors and writers successfully bring this show back to life? We’ll find out in a few months.
