Fall festivities filled with fashion

By Olivia Rajska

Get ready for layers upon layers of sweaters, coats, scarves, hats and gloves; there is a reason some people’s favorite season is fall.

The change of weather calls for a new wardrobe with colors fit for the season.

According to pantone.com, the fashion color report for fall 2012 includes French roast, honey gold, tangerine tango, ultramarine green, bright chartreuse, Olympian blue and titanium. All these colors work for both men and women and can be incorporated in a favorite fall style: layering.

There are plenty of fall outfit options to try out, and sometimes when you cannot decide on what to wear, it can be best to layer your options into one outfit. The chilly season calls for new festivities to attend and ensembles to prepare.

Football games call for your favorite team jerseys paired with long-sleeved shirts or sweaters. Stay warm during the games with hats, scarves and gloves that match the team colors.

A trip to the pumpkin patch calls for a warm coat, cable knit sweater, comfortable jeans and boots. While picking the perfect pumpkin, keep your hands warm with a pair of gloves.

Let the colors of fall inspire you when picking outfits for fall festivities. Enjoy the new season with style.
