The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Sept. 15, 2012

At 2:44 a.m., a vehicle was driving eastbound from 1300 Eco Park Drive. The vehicle did not have its headlights on and was driving at a high speed. The vehicle was stopped for traffic violations. The driver, David Pinitha, 19, admitted to drinking alcohol one hour before driving and inhaling cannabis 45 minutes before driving. He was arrested. The vehicle was searched. Cannabis and drug paraphernalia were found. The vehicle was towed and Pinitha was arrested for DUI, consumption of alcohol, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without his lights on

At 3:55 a.m., officers were observing and investigating a dispute at a home on Hillcrest Drive when they learned there was a warrant out for Marcus Branch, 20. The warrant was for failure to appear for possession of cannabis. Branch posted $225 USC for bond and was released with a pending court date.

Between 12:30 and 1 a.m., a complainant told officers she lost her cellphone on Hillcrest Drive when she was walking home. She went back to look for the phone but was unable to find it. She attempted to locate the phone by tracking it on the computer but failed. She will provide the phone’s serial number if she locates it and will let the police department know.

At 12:10 p.m., officers made contact with Patrycia Radzik, 20, at her apartment on Hillcrest Drive. She was arrested for unlawful use of a credit card from August 2012. She was taken into custody and transported to the police department. Radzik was processed and released after posting $500 bond.

At 11:22 p.m., a complainant had a car parked at 600 Spring Ave. He heard loud noises like an air rifle or BB gun. His window was damaged. He did not see who fired the shots. Officers asked a resident near the address about shots. He said he had not heard anything suspicious. There are no suspects at this time.

At 11:13 p.m., officers responded to phone harassment at a residence on Haish Blvd. Officers spoke with the complainant and an investigation was started.

At 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Fotis Drive in reference to a theft investigation. Officers gathered information from the victims. An investigation is underway.
