Monday

At 6:32 p.m., an officer on patrol in the 1100 block of Lucinda Avenue initiated a traffic stop and learned the driver, Maurice Stanford, 21, of DeKalb had a suspended license and no insurance. Stanford was arrested and charged with driving while license was suspended, suspended registration and no insurance.

Tuesday

At 12:21 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Peace Road north of Route 64 in Sycamore for failure to signal when required. The driver, Mavier Medina-Ortiz, 23, was charged with driving while license was suspended and failure to signal. Medina-Ortiz was taken to the DeKalb County Jail and held pending bond.
