The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from the DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 9:28 p.m. Thursday, DeKalb Police received a call of suspicious behavior in the 500 block of Taylor Street. Sharnice L. Glenn, 23, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass to a residence. An investigation was started.

At 12:24 a.m. Friday, DeKalb Police initiated a traffic stop after a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Knolls Avenue stopped in the middle of a intersection and then proceeded while the stoplight was red. The driver failed a field sobriety test. Lori C. Deschryver, 19, of Geneva, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (two counts) and disobeying a traffic signal. Deschryver was arrested and transported to the DeKalb Police Department. She was later released after posting bond.

At 2:10 a.m. Friday, while DeKalb Police were investigating a battery in the 800 block of Crane Drive, it was learned a person near the residence had a valid warrant on them. Tommy L. Gray, 24, of DeKalb, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant for aggravated assault. Gray was sent DeKalb County Jail and later released after posting bond.

At 6:55 p.m. Saturday, DeKalb Police observed a person in the 1000 block of Normal Road known to have a valid warrant out on them. Christian M. Sosa, 27, of DeKalb, was arrested for a failure to appear warrant and was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
