John Acardo

Position: Hanover Township in Bartlett overseeing human resources and information technology

Party affiliation: Republican

Platform: Acardo plans to continue to provide open and honest government within the DeKalb County Clerk’s Office, and to improve technology. He plans to digitalize documents and automate many office functions so that residents can access their government from their computers 24/7.

 

Jim Luebke

Position: He currently works at a manufacturing plant in Sycamore

Party affiliation: Democrat

Platform: Luebke plans to inform voters about the electoral process by working closely with the local media and starting a “Moblie Voter Registration” as well as setting up a second voting location on the campuses around the county.
