Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Frank Van Buer Plaza near the DeKalb RAMP office. There are no fees to register. Proceeds from the Wheel-A-Thon benefit RAMP’s DeKalb County Services, provided out of the DeKalb office. Participants can also register online.

Prior to starting the course teams have the chance to decorate their wheelchair. The Wheel-A-Thon will then roll out or walk at 11 a.m. completing a two-mile course, taking 45 minutes to an hour. After completing the course complimentary food and beverages will be served. Participants who raise a minimum of $50 will receive an event T-shirt.

RAMP, a non-profit organization, holds the Wheel-A-Thon each year to benefit people with disabilities and to “make them aware that there are no limits to what they can do. The Wheel-A-Thon will help raise awareness and funds for RAMP’s services in the community.
