DeKalb shooting under investigation

DeKalb Police are investigating a shooting that took place at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of North 10th Street. DeKalb Police Sgt. Robert Redel said police have some leads on a suspect, but no one is in custody at this time.

Redel said the suspect was on foot and fired several shots at a house, hitting a man in the arm. According to a DeKalb Police press release, the victim was taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital, 1 Kish Hospital Drive, with non-life threatening injuries.
