Two Genoa men were arrested early Sunday morning after reportedly starting a fight where a pellet gun was pulled out, police said.

At 12:40 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police were called to the 800 block of Greenbrier Road where officers found two people bleeding and several people in the road yelling. The two men told police they drove to a house in the area to start a fight with someone inside when about nine people came out and started fighting them, said DeKalb Police Lt. Gary Spangler.

In the fight, one of two men ran to the car, pulled out a pellet gun and threatened the group of people they were fighting, Spangler said. The gun was never fired, but one of the people involved was reportedly struck with the gun, Spangler said.

Police arrested Zachary J. Dion, 22, of Genoa, and charged him with aggravated assault, mob action and battery. Police also arrested Harry B. Phelan, 23, of Genoa, and charged him with mob action.
