DeKalb police arrested a man after he was found passed out inside an apartment where he allegedly brought more than 50 grams of cannabis, police said.

At 11:48 p.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police found Daniel J. Mahler, 19, passed out inside an apartment in the 700 block of Fotis Drive, after smoking a hookah pipe filled with marijuana, said DeKalb Police Lt. Gary Spangler.

It is believed Mahler brought the marijuana to the apartment to deliver to someone there and to smoke it, Spangler said. Several other people were present inside the apartment at the time, Spangler said, and between 50 and 70 grams of marijuana were recovered.

Mahler was arrested and charged with unlawful delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
