No one was injured in a reported armed robbery in the 900 block of Greenbrier Road Friday night.

DeKalb Police arrested Jermaine J. Kelley, 26, of DeKalb; Jamar L. Miller, 21, of Decatur and Rodney J. Latzzis, 20, of Skokie, after they allegedly robbed a man in his apartment with a knife.

Around 11:20 p.m., the victim was in his apartment when two suspects, one of whom had a knife, entered through an unlocked door and ordered him to get on the ground.

A third suspect then entered the apartment and started searching for property, which the suspects took before running from the apartment, according to a DeKalb Police Department news release.

Witnesses in the area gave police a description of the suspects and which way they ran. The victim was not injured in the robbery, according to the release.

Police later saw two of the suspects running at University Village Apartments, 722 N. Annie Glidden Road. When police approached, the two suspects split up and were arrested after a short foot chase. Additional officers were called to the area to help in the chase.

Property taken in the robbery was found on one of the suspects, and the third suspect was located in an apartment in University Village, according to the release.

Kelley, Miller and Latzzis were charged with armed robbery and resisting a peace officer, and taken to DeKalb County Jail pending bond.
