Three men held a resident and his neighbor at gunpoint during a home invasion early Monday morning, police said.

At 1:15 a.m., the three men entered the apartment in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Highway, displayed a gun and ordered a resident alone in the apartment to sit down.

A neighbor came to the sliding glass door and was ordered to sit with the victim by the suspects, said DeKalb Police Chief Bill Feithen.

The victims were then ordered into the bathroom where they called police. Neither of the victims were injured.

The suspects left with some merchandise from the apartment, said DeKalb Police Lt. Gary Spangler, but declined to comment on what was taken.

The suspects are described as three black males. The first suspect is about 6-foot-2-inches tall, with acne scars on his face and no facial hair. He was wearing a gray and green hoodie during the incident.

The second suspect is described as between 5-foot-5-inches and 5-foot-8-inches tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with white symbols and covered his face with a ski mask.

The third suspect is described as light skinned, about 5-foot-6-inches tall with a thin build.

He was wearing a navy blue running jacket and an urban military type hat.
