A Sycamore man is being held on a $75,000 bond after a domestic fight occurred where he hit someone with a broken bottle and threatened another person with a knife, police said.

Thomas Wilkenson, 24, was arrested Wednesday at a residence in the 900 block of E. State Street following an investigation by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 7:30 p.m., police were called to the residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police learned Wilkenson had battered his girlfriend and assaulted three other people who tried to intervene, said DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott. During the fight, Wilkenson hit one of the people intervening with a bottle and threatened another with a knife he displayed, Scott said.

Scott did not know the specifics of the injuries but described them as “significant.” The victims were taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital, treated and released.

Wilkenson is charged with aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and four counts of domestic battery. He was taken to DeKalb County Jail pending $75,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for Nov. 4.
