Man missing after two weeks

DeKALB | Bradley P. Olsen of Maple Park has been missing for more than two weeks.

Olsen was last seen at Bar One, 1000 W. Lincoln Highway, Friday, Jan. 19. His friends said he was intoxicated and was trying to find a ride home.

His last outgoing call on his cell phone was made on Jan. 20. He was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, black dress shirt, blue jeans and new black boots.

Though Olsen is neither a resident of DeKalb nor a student of NIU, the DeKalb Police Department is working on the case.

“Usually in a missing persons case, the jurisdiction is the place where they go missing,” said DeKalb Police Lt. Jim Kayes.

“We’re working on some leads,” Kayes said. “Keep in mind, he was last seen on a Friday night/Saturday morning, it’s a very active night for the bar. People who knew him saw him there, and that’s what we’re working on.”
