DeKALB | The fourth robbery in seven days has DeKalb Police searching for yet another suspect.

On Monday around 3:15 a.m., a robbery occurred in front of Building 16 of Suburban Apartments, 1305 N. Annie Glidden Road.

The victim was robbed of cash and a laptop computer after being struck on the head three times with vice-grip pliers, DeKalb Police said in a statement.

The suspect in question is described as a white male, early to mid-20s, 5’8″ to 5’10” in height with curly brown hair and wearing a jacket, sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police also arrested three suspects Wednesday in relation to a robbery that took place Tuesday at 1110 Varsity Blvd.

Surveillance allowed police to catch the suspects in an area in which they were known to congregate.

Ivory S. Clark Jr., 21, of Aurora; Antone Sims, 18, of Chicago; and Terry L. Shaw II, 20, of Aurora, were seen entering a vehicle, which was then stopped in the Amber Manor apartment complex.

After stopping the vehicle, police arrested the three suspects.

Police recovered the victim’s stolen MP3 player and seized clothing worn by two of the suspects during the robbery.

All three have been charged with aggravated robbery, a Class 1 Felony, which is punishable by four to 15 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

Police are still uncertain as to whether these three were involved in other recent robberies in the DeKalb area.
