On behalf of the Clinton Rosette Middle School students and staff, I would like to thank Dominique Berisford and Steve Duchrow of Northern Illinois University for their efforts in bringing Residency Programs in the Arts to our children.

On Oct. 14, our students were able to attend a mini opera performance of the Minnesota Opera entitled “Shipwreck on Opera Island” at Sandburg Auditorium. The performance was both educational and enjoyable. Northern Illinois University should be commended for their efforts of including our school age children in their artist series. Their efforts have greatly enriched our children’s experience and appreciation of the arts. We look forward to future opportunities to participate in the NIU artist series.
