The DeKalb Police Department received a report of an armed robbery at 1:40 a.m. Monday in a parking lot in College Square, 832 Ridge Drive.

“One of the suspects had a gun,” said DeKalb police Lt. Jim Kayes.

The victim told police three males approached him from behind, Kayes said. One suspect wore a tan mask over his face, one wore a black jacket and the other wore a do-rag.

The victim said one guy said “Give me everything you’ve got,” Kayes said. The victim had only his cell phone on him, which the robbers took, Kayes said.

DeKalb police are also on the lookout for a person caught in a photograph uprooting a stop sign at Ridge Drive and Blackhawk Road.

The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, during the student White Sox celebratory march through DeKalb.

The person is wanted for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, Kayes said.

Crime Stoppers is also looking for the suspect.
