Not paying attention

This is in response to the person writing in Monday’s Northern Star. We have been attending NIU for the past few years, and have never had problems with the library. Normally when we write a paper we get so much information that we have to cut some out. If you can’t find what you need, then obviously you did not pay attention in your English class discussions about the library. If we did have problems finding information, the library staff was glad to help us out. In your case we really wonder who was at fault, when they were supposedly rude to you. Now we do have to admit that some of the microfiche slides are harder to read, but that has never stopped us from using them in our papers. If it is bothering you that much, then simply look elsewhere for your information. This university has many problems, but Founders Memorial Library is not one of them.
