Task Force nets arrest

The North Central Narcotics Task Force arrested a man Wednesday after an undercover agent purchased ecstacy pills from him, the NCNTF said.

The task force received a tip that John Rudnicki, 20, of Woodstock would be traveling to the DeKalb area with ecstacy pills, according to a press release.

Rudnicki met with an undercover agent in a parking lot on South Annie Glidden Road near Interstate 88 and was observed delivering ecstacy to the officer, police said.

Rudnicki was immediately arrested and has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 3 felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class X felony; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class 1 felony; and possession of cannabis, a Class B misdemeanor.

Rudnicki was taken to DeKalb County Jail, and later was released after paying 10 percent of his $20,000 bond.
