Proper thanks

In the spirit of proper attribution of credit and on behalf of the students whose funds are involved, I would like to point out that the visit of Dr. Lillian Glass (advertised in the April 3rd edition of the Star) is a part of the Graduate Colloquium Program. That program is supported by the colloquium fees paid by on-campus, graduate-level students. In this case, the graduate colloquium fund was the primary source of financial (and administrative) support for the speaker’s visit, which was endorsed by the departments of Accountancy, Finance and Management and the MBA program. Partial financial support was also provided by the College of Business.

ALL of those involved in such an event deserve proper recognition. Certainly the students’ very substantial financial support of this visit should have been acknowledged.
