A short letter concerning the parking problem at NIU. I think it’s appalling that physically-able students living within a mile of campus drive to class. If you don’t want to take the Huskie Buses (which are free to students), have you considered walking or biking to class? Your body will thank you for the exercise and you won’t have to search in desperation for a parking space. I have just one question for faculty/staff here at NIU: Has anyone considered forming or joining a car pool?
