FRIDAY

At 1:34 a.m., a sergeant on patrol at Eco Park Drive observed a person carrying a can of what appeared to be beer. The person admitted to carrying an open can of beer and being under 21 years of age. She was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.

SATURDAY

At 12:17 a.m., an officer took a report regarding the theft of a cell phone. This case is pending investigation.

SUNDAY

At 2:02 a.m., officers on patrol observed a vehicle commit a traffic infraction. Contact with the three occupants revealed cannabis and many open and unopened bottles of alcoholic beverages. One of the occupants, Christian Aleman, 18, of Rochelle, was arrested and charged with illegal consumption by a minor. Jorge Herrera, 24, of Rochelle, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis under 30 grams.
