NIU’s 2016-17 Annual Safety and Security Report was published Friday to comply with the Clery Act, which requires all colleges and universities that receive federal financial aid to disclose crimes which occurred on or near campus. Go to niu.edu/clery/ to see the full report. *The offenses listed under the VAWA offenses were categorized as forcible sex offenses, non-forcible sex offenses and aggravated assault in the 2013-14 report.
