Contel and the Public Relations Student Society of America are sponsoring “708 Day” at NIU on Friday. Activities will be held on campus from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. One of the events to be held is a balloon lauch outside the Holmes Student Center at noon.

Friday is a reminder to students that beginning Saturday they will have to dial 708 to reach the suburbs.

Ball sponsored by BSU

The Black Student Union and Omega Psi Phi are sponsoring the Black Red and Green Ball on Friday at 8 p.m. At the ball awards will be given to outstanding students.

The charge is $2.00 at the door for students and faculty. Part of the profits will be given to charity. For more information call 753-2848.
