Week Two

The second week is a lot harder than the first. I am fully consumed in my summer job, so working out everyday is difficult to accomplish. I’ve come to the conclusion that I am not going to be able to workout everyday and it’s okay.

The Plan

I have lost about four pounds, by simply eating healthy. My initial plan is working amazingly; I feel fantastic.

Diet

I have stuck to not eating red meat and only drinking water and milk. Before, I would eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted and that has stopped. For snacks, I eat a lot of fruit and have been measuring and counting calories. I attest my diet to a big reason why I feel so good and energized this week. By eating healthy food and watching what I eat, I feel so much more awake and ready to take on the day.

Exercise

This week for exercise I continue to do 20 minutes of cardio, ab workouts and also added in some arm exercises. In total, I’ve gone to the gym four times this week; but four is better than none. I am staying optimistic because working out everyday is not possible, because I am inexplicably busy with work, which is why focused dieting is helping me get into shape.

Progress

I still do not see a ton of results, but I do notice more definition in my legs. My face also seems less chunky and my stomach is a bit smaller. There is still a long way to go, but I have to start somewhere and I am happy to see some results.

I am starting to feel amazing and hopefully look that way in the coming weeks, but I am so glad and hopeful about my fitness journey this summer.
