Aside from graduation, the most anticipated time of the school year is spring break. Whether you’re enjoying some fun on the beach or just taking time to relax at home with family, be sure to make the most out of your well deserved time off. Below are three destinations that could serve as spring 2017 hotspots.

South Padre, Texas

This city has quickly become the destination for college students over the years and is sure to offer some excitement over spring break. The week is set to include a Spring Break Beach Jam hosted by Lil Wayne and will feature rap group Migos. Aside from the Spring Break Beach Jam, South Padre Island is described as a tropical oasis dedicated to the experience of never sleeping, stopping or slowing down, according to the South Padre spring break webpage.

Panama City Beach, Florida

Panama City Beach has been considered the spring break capital of the world and has been noted as the No. 1 spring break college stop among spring breakers nationwide, according to the Panama City Beach website. With a variety of parties and clubs to attend, Panama City Beach could easily be a destination to offer the full spring break experience. If you do go, be sure to check out Harpoon Harry’s, a place that will make you feel like you’ve walked into your favorite bar on campus.

Lake Havasu, Arizona

New to the notorious spring break list, Lake Havasu is rumored to be the No. 1 spring break destination on the West Coast, according to the Lake Havasu website. Lake Havasu is famous for its warm weather 300 days of the year, sandy beaches and a vibrant nightlife. One of the hotspots of this destination is Kokomo, a beach, surf and party bar that welcomes all college students. Lake Havasu is also the home to the world-famous rebuilt London Bridge that spans over the Thames River. There’s no doubt this could be a cool way to celebrate spring break with some sun and history.
