Super Bowl recipe to satisfy guests

By Danielle Keys

The Super Bowl is a great time to host friends and family for a bash, but no get-together is complete without snacks. Here is an easy recipe for bacon-wrapped chicken bites students can make in 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 lb. of boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 chicken breasts)

13-15 slices of bacon cut horizontally

Two 3 oz. packages of softened cream cheese

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Cut chicken breasts in 6-8 small pieces and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the pieces evenly on a baking sheet.

3. Spread cream cheese on each piece of seasoned chicken with a teaspoon.

4. Roll each piece of chicken in a strip of bacon that has been cut horizontally.

5. Place in the oven for 20 minutes and flip them halfway through the time.

Once done, these bacon-wrapped chicken poppers will be a great pair with BBQ sauce or honey mustard. This is an awesome appetizer to get your game day started.
