By this time in the semester, the energy and determination from the start of the school year may be wearing off, but that’s no excuse to lose track of your heath and wellness.

If you’re feeling a little burnt out already, take a look at these tips that might help you with your well-being:

Healthy diet & exercise

Even though you may be tempted to give up that wonderful diet and exercise regimen that you started back in August, don’t let the stress of exams stop you from eating healthy and being active. Make sure to plan time to be active. Take a walk with some friends or do some cardio exercises at the Recreation Center during the day. Eat healthy foods such as oranges, which are high in vitamin C and help your immune system, bananas, which contain potassium and help prevent muscle cramps, and carrots, which have kerotin and help with healthy nails, hair and skin.

Keep focused

Make sure you continue going to class and stay active in your studies despite the temptation to sleep-in in the morning. Don’t let the stress of an exam and mid-semester projects stray you from the path of determination. You’re almost at the finish line. Keep moving Forward Together Forward.

Make time For relaxation

In any period of stress, you want to make sure you’re still making time for the things that help you stay centered. Don’t completely skip out on things that could take a little stress off of your day.

Make time to meet with friends, and even if you’re too busy to go out, make study plans with the people in your life you enjoy being around. Make time to talk to your family or even read a few chapters of a book for fun to make sure you don’t completely isolate yourself from the things you love.
