Are you getting a little stir crazy from being snowed in? Get out this weekend and check out these local food and music events:

Today

Country singer Brad Paisley will perform 7:30 p.m. at the Convocation Center. The concert will also feature sets from bands, Parmalee and The Swon Brothers. Tickets cost $39.75 to 59.75 and can be purchased at the Convocation Center box office or Ticketmaster.com.

Can’t make it to the Brad Paisley show? Gather your friends for the Official Brad Paisley After Show with DJ Mars and a possible surprise guest at Rosy’s Roadhouse, 930 Pappas Drive. Enter for free before midnight with password “Paisley” or for $3 after.

Friday

A band will perform every Friday this month at Hometown Sports Bar & Grill, 241 E. Lincoln Highway. This Friday, Max & Mike will perform at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday

The Unitarian Univeralist Fellowship of DeKalb’s indoor farmers market will open for the season 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb, 158 N. Fourth St. The farmers market will feature fresh foods, live music and a book sale.

Rapper and singer Tink will perform 7 p.m. at the Holmes Student Center, Duke Ellington Ballroom. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at NIUtickets.com.
