Meetings can still be held in Res. halls

By Rikki Cottrell

DeKALB | Student Involvement and Leadership has released instructions to any organizations who hold meetings in the residence halls in light of the heightened security on campus.

In an e-mail from Melissa Roman, of Student Involvement and Leadership, gave the following instructions for anyone who this may apply to:

Have a member of the organization who is also a resident of that building wait by the door and let the non-residential members into the building.

Have a member of your organization who has a class in that building wait by the door and let the non-residential members into the building.

If neither scenarios are applicable, contact Williams at [email protected] or 815-753-6190 and give the names and Z-IDs of two officers. These two will be in charge of waiting by the door and letting other non-residential organization members into the building. These two members will be given door access to the building.

For all three scenarios, the person in charge must specify the door for all members to enter.
