At 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, DeKalb Police responded to a call for the possibility of a man with gun call in the 800 block of Greenbrier Road. Upon arrival, the suspect was searched and his girlfriend, Brenda L. Fant, 51 of Ashton, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. An investigation was started.

At 10:41 a.m. Wednesday, DeKalb County Sheriffs and Sycamore Police executed a court authorized search warrant following a child pornography investigation in the 300 block of Somonauk Road in Cortland. Police located Sean L. Grimoldby, 38 of Cortland, and took him into custody. Grimoldby was charged with 11 counts of aggravated child pornography and one count of child pornography. He was then turned over to Corrections Deputies. Grimoldby is currently being held pending bond.
