DeKALB – NIU, the DeKalb County Health Department and the Illinois Public Health Department have partnered to offer free COVID-19 testing from Sunday to Tuesday. 

Free drive-thru COVID-19 testing will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Sunday to Tuesday at the Convocation Center parking lot, 1525 W. Lincoln Highway. Participants should enter from Lincoln Highway, according to the NIU calendar. 

The test consists of a nasal swab administered by a local health professional. Test results will be provided by phone within four to seven days by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
