DeKALB – The week of Jan. 25 is going to be cold and snowy. Travel may be difficult, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday

Monday will have an 80% chance of snow after 1 p.m. with a high of 29 degrees. Snow accumulation will increase by the night with three to seven inches possible and a 100% chance of snow. There is an east-northeast wind possible to reach 35 mph. 

Tuesday

Tuesday will have an 80% chance of snow before 3 p.m. with a high of 29 degrees. One to two inches of snow accumulation is possible during the day. There is a northeast up to 25 mph wind. Tuesday night will be cold and mostly cloudy with a low of 18 degrees. 

Wednesday

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 24 degrees. There is a north wind of 10 to 15 mph. Wednesday night will be cold with a low of four degrees.

Thursday

Thursday will be sunny with a high near 19 degrees. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 7 degrees.

Friday

Temperatures will begin to rise on Friday with a high near 27 degrees. It will be mostly sunny. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 22 degrees.

Saturday

Saturday has a chance of snow and rain. It will be mostly cloudy with a high of 36 degrees. There is a likely chance that it will snow during the evening.

Sunday

Sunday has a chance of snow and will be mostly cloudy. There will have a high near 35 degrees.
