As of Thursday, two students and no employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that two additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and three students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 20 students and six employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 779 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 753 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 2.5% quarantine and isolation use, the same as Thursday.

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
