DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that six students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 69 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 929 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 858 have recovered.

As of Thursday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 14.7% quarantine and isolation use, the same as Wednesday.

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
