Sept. 16

  • El Grito: Alpha Psi Lambda will be hosting this Latino cultural event from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. outside of the Latino Resource Center. Contact Lisa Vargen at [email protected] for more information.

Sept. 17

  • De Que Parte Eres!: Hosted by Lambda Theta Alpha, students can attend this event which will focus on LatinX countries. The event will take place in the classroom at the Latino Resource Center at 7 p.m.

  • La Fiesta de la Catrina: Students will be able to participate in a face painting contest outside of the Latino Resource Center at 5:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Latino Student Alliance. Contact Lisa Vargen at [email protected] for more information.

  • Banderas y Color: The Latino Student Alliance will be hosting this event, where attendees will be able to paint flags at the Latino Resource Center computer lab at 5:30 p.m. Contact Lisa Vargen at [email protected] for more information.

  • Professionalism Workshop: Students will be able to participate in a resume workshop, career fair prep and elevator speech. The event will take place in the Latino Resource Center classroom from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will be hosted by Supporting Opportunities for Latinos.   • Julissa Arce: Join guest speaker Julissa Arce from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for this virtual event. A Zoom link will be provided for students to join. Contact Lisa Vargen at [email protected] for more information.

  • LGBTQ + Unidos: Students will be able to paint quotes from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Holmes Student Center. Contact Lisa Vargen at [email protected] for more information.
