Joey Trella

Joey Trella, Marketing Team Coordinator

Joey Trella is a senior working towards a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a double minor in communications and political science. Joey joined Northern Star in February 2022 and has had numerous positions at the star: Volunteer News Reporter, Paginator, Opinion Editor, Digital Managing Editor and now is the Marketing Team Coordinator. She is also a part of NIU's women's tennis team and is currently playing her final season. Joey also loves traveling around the world, pasta and cracking deaf jokes (she's deaf with cochlear implants).
