Emily Beebe, News Editor

Emily Beebe is a senior from LaSalle, Illinois, majoring in English and double minoring in history and political science. She joined the Northern Star in February 2023 as an opinion columnist. She has the goal of being a writer after graduation. She became Senior Opinion Columnist in September 2023, Assistant News Editor in spring 2024 and News Editor in fall 2024. She is also involved with Kesem at NIU as a counselor. In her free time, she likes to read, write and go shopping.
